Allergy Testing & Treatment
Welcome to our practice. We look
forward to providing you comprehensive, customized allergy evaluation and management in a warm and friendly setting, dedicated
to individualized assessment and patient centered treatment. We pride ourselves not only on accurate and timely assessments,
but value patient education as one of the most important aspects of patient care. Dr. McMullan, Katherine and our entire staff
are available to answer your questions and encourage you to write them down prior to your visit.
In order to best serve you, we request that you
schedule an appointment, which will typically be 45 minutes to one hour for NEW patients. Before your appointment you
should download the NEW PATIENT FORMS available on this website, complete them and bring them with you to your first appointment. Time will
be allotted at the end of your appointment for any additional questions you might have. PRICK testing may be done at
your first appointment to screen for 16 common inhalant allergens.

If it appears that your problems are allergy based, complete testing may be recommended
at a separate visit with our allergy nurse. Blood and/or skin testing will be done to determine the SPECIFIC allergy
and the level of SENSITIVITY. Avoidance, medications and/or immunotherapy may be recommended. The choice between
shots and sublingual drops will be discussed (SEE FAQ). Ultimately, the treatment regimen is determined by the patient
and the physician.
Please
avoid taking the following medications the day before your actual allergy testing day:
